(Los Angeles, CA) The name Southern California Magazine Group no longer fits the company, and publisher Jeff Levy has changed it to better suit its hugely expanded scope.

“We don’t think of it as growing pains, but rather growing gains,” Levy said. “Our first love is the printed word, but given everything else we do, the term ‘magazine’ seemed limiting. For several years, we’ve not only been magazine publishers, but multimedia providers in the newest sense of the word. We’ve grown with consumers’ need for online-, mobile- and social media-delivered information.”

The company is now the Southern California Media Group.
