Job Description

Busy regional magazine and web publisher seeks a dynamic, creative advertising sales professional to represent WHERE Magazine, WHERE GuestBook, SoCalPulse.com and PERFORMANCES Magazine. These publications serve the growing travel and theater markets. This is a fast-paced and innovative environment, often with multiple competing deadlines, so the ability to diligently multi-task is an invaluable skill. The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales and communication skills, be familiar with the Orange County dining, theater, shopping and arts scene, be positive and service oriented. You will be based in our Costa Mesa office and often travel locally. Due to our subject matter, successful candidate will need to attend restaurant and gallery openings, plays and other arts/hospitality related events.

Desired Skills & Experience

· 2+ years in sales, preferably in media or advertising

· Contacts in restaurants, retail and attractions desirable

· Mac OS and Excel savvy – experience with Salesforce is advantageous

· Self motivated and ambitious

· Strong understanding of our business and the OC advertising community

· Ability to deliver accurate, professional work under tight deadlines

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and customer service skills
